Safety is one of our 5 core values. We are committed to providing a safe workplace environment by applying training, communication and resources to achieve our goals. CoreServ senior management stresses work safety at every turn and rewards desired safety performance at the field employee level. Our safety management includes a never ending process loop of reviewing, training, measuring, rewarding, and revising.
Orientation & Training
New employees are required to read and sign an employee policy manual which includes the CoreServ safety policy. All new employees are paired with a crew to learn the various skills under the watchful eye of seasoned supervisors/employees. Operators are trained and qualified for any/all tasks that may be performed.
Safety committee meetings are held monthly, or more often if needed. All employees are required to attend and paid during this time. The safety program coordinator provides handouts, videos, interactive examples, opportunity for dialogue and minutes of each meeting within one week after each meeting. The safety program coordinator ensures topics are current and applicable to our industry/workplace.
Crews perform a pre-job vehicle and equipment inspection to ensure everything is in correct working order. Before beginning any job the supervisor conducts a JSA meeting with an overview of the task and potential hazards. CoreServ enforces disciplinary action if employees openly violate safety policies.
